Toyota Avalon 2007 with remote engine starter , how can i start the engine?

i just got a toyota Avalon 2007 Limited Edition , the remote control says, to start the engine press (lock button 2 times in two seconds then one more time and hold) , i do everything without any luck, what am i doing wrong ? i dont wanna go to a toyota dealer just for that , can someone help me out?

You should stop by the Toyota Dealership and ask just in case nothing embarrassing about that. That or call the person you bought the car from and ask how they did and if they can show you.
